What is the difference between a display aerator and a fountain?
Only high pumping rate, axial (propeller) pumps are classified as Aerators. Effective aeration is achieved through the use of these pumps with high pumping rates. In contrast, our Display Aerators offer both high flow rates relative to the horsepower and visually appealing patterns, characterized by shorter pattern height, higher volume, and thicker, more wind-resistant streams.
In contrast, fountains are crafted using centrifugal pumps, resulting in taller patterns but considerably lower flow rates. While these pumps do generate some aeration through splashing as much as Aerators or even Aerating Fountains. This is due to their taller pattern height, lower volume, and thin streams, which are distinct from the characteristics of true Aerators.
How much does a fountain cost?
We offer many different size fountains at different price points to meet any budget.
Other than aesthetics, what benefits does a fountain provide?
- Adequate Water Aeration
- Keep Water Circulating to ensure optimal levels of dissolved oxygen for all aquatic life.
- Enhances Water Quality
- Limits Mosquito Activity
How often do we need maintenance on a fountain or aeration system?
Depending on the size and water quality of where the fountain or aeration system exists will directly correlate to the amount of maintenance needed.
How do I know if we have a big enough body of water for a fountain or aeration system?
We have fountains and aerations systems of every HP size from ½ hp through 40 HP, so we can size any fountain or aeration system to match the body of water on property.
Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
We offer an array of warranty options depending on the products purchased.
